During 2009 and 2010 the directors of Locksmith Project Space produced three issues of Locksmith Project, an independent, curated publication of local, national and international artist ideas and writing.
Locksmith Project provided artists and writers with the opportunity to experiment with works in progress, initial ideas, research, sketches, plans and basically anything that constitutes making art work.
Locksmith Project was printed sustainably using 100% recycled paper and soy-based inks. It was also printed locally in Australia. Each issue was printed within a limited edition with Issues 1 and 2 being limited to 500 copies whilst Issue 3 was presented in a Kate Mitchell-commissioned presentation box within an edition of only 300 copies.
